Today I’m going to talk to you all about Healthy Fats!

 

The Truth About Healthy Fats...

Your metabolism is a bonfire and like a bonfire, it’s looking for the easiest fuel to burn first to keep the fire going.

Carbs and sugar are your body's first choice, sort of like tossing a newspaper into the flames, they won’t last long.

But here’s the difference between your body and a fire: A fire is thinking about the now and your body is always preparing for the future.

That’s why it takes certain foods and stores them so they can be burned later when you need them to survive.

So, when you’re throwing a ton of carbs and sugars onto your fire your body never needs to use those stored fats and it’s happy to stay ablaze the easiest way possible.

But when you shut off the source of that easy fuel, it turns to the body fat it’s stored up and this is exactly what we want.

How to Burn Fat in 2 Simple Steps...

The 1st step is the detox: removing those easy fuel foods we talked about on Day 1.

How’s that going for you?

Don’t worry. Stick with it and I promise you’re almost through the worst of it.

The 2nd step is training your body to burn stored fat for fuel.

That means getting enough fat. My favorite ways to get enough fat are throwing avocados on everything, adding MCT oil to my coffee, cooking with butter or leftover bacon grease, and eating some dark chocolate at the end of the day.

Once you get your body "fat-adapted," you will be in awe of how the weight falls off of you.
